All by myself...

I could be singing that. Ben has been working away in Germany since 3 (long) weeks and we still have 2 weeks to go. In some ways I love how connected I have become to Jamie while Ben is away as I have to do everything - but on the other hand we miss him so badly.

Jamie speaks to him on the phone every day and , gosh, it is amazing what conversations he can hold now. Jamie is bilingual and has been a very late talker. But in the last 4 weeks he has gone from single words to 5-word-phrases in both languages. Absolutely and utterly astonishing. I think this is the biggest gift  we can give him, to be able to choose in his later life , where he wants to live, which language he wants to choose.

Jamie is still 100% TV free (8 months now) and I do not miss having TV. It was the best decision we ever made. He is such a happy, calm child, and is happy to play for hours and hours. At the moment he plays a lot in his sandpit, chatting to himself.

I am hoping to update this a bit more again, just to be able to reread in a year or too, and remember those days...

It has become sooo cold here. The autumn is on it´s way, my favourite season. My birthday is coming up on monday, I will be 28. Too old...!!LOL

And Rebooooooooot......

I am reviving this blog and this afternoon I will be starting to post again. Hopefully I can keep it up this time.
Jamie has been learning soo many new things and we are having lovely days , so lots to tell.
